About

A little background — and why this work matters to me

I was born and raised in New Orleans. Growing up there shaped a lot of how I see homes and neighborhoods — not just as properties, but as places where life happens, families grow, and decisions tend to be more emotional than people expect. That perspective has stayed with me as I’ve built my career in real estate and investing.

Today, I’m based in Houston, where I’m also a mom to twins. Being a parent has a way of sharpening your priorities — especially around time, stability, and long-term planning. It’s one of the reasons I’m so intentional about how I approach rental property ownership and real estate decisions.

From investing to advising

Alongside my work as a realtor, I’ve been directly involved in real estate investing, including both long-term rentals and short-term rentals. That experience has given me a practical understanding of what landlords actually deal with day to day — not just numbers on a spreadsheet, but maintenance decisions, timing issues, and the mental load that can come with ownership.

How this connects to my real estate work

While this site is intentionally informational, I do work professionally as a licensed real estate agent in Houston. When it makes sense, I help clients buy, sell, and evaluate properties — including those who are navigating rental ownership decisions.

Some people come here simply to stay informed.

Others eventually want guidance or representation.

Both are completely okay.

A final note

Real estate decisions don’t need to feel rushed or reactive.

My goal — whether through this site or through my real estate work — is to help people move forward with clarity and confidence, at their own pace.

Thanks for being here.
